Ole' Satan tried to tempt Him every possible way
My Lord was starvin', He was hungry, and then ole' Satan said
"If you be God's Son, turn these stones to bread"
The devil took my Jesus to a high place on the earth
Ole' Satan tempted Him with all the kingdoms and their worth
The devil said to Him "all of this I give to thee
If you only bow down and worship me"

Satan led to the temple and he set Him way up high
It was here he told the Lord "If you jump you will not die"
And then the angels will come down if you truly are God's Son
"If you give in to me, ole' Satan has won"
Now we know Christ answered Satan, he said "man lives not on bread
alone"
He also told the devil, "worship God and God alone"
He said "don't tempt your Lord," my Jesus truly passed the test
If we follow His example our reward will be the best
