The morning sun in flames has ris’n
And spread its light across the earth.
All creatures bask in Love’s warm rays
And thank their Maker for this birth.

Its glory reaches noon’s blue skies;

But as night falls the sun shall ride
Its chariot down the western sky.
God’s night creation shall appear:

And finally rests when day is done.
