The king had called to show her off,
But she would not obey.
So out she went and Esther came
To rule with him that day.

Then Haman passed a horrid law
Which ordered all the men,
To murder every Jew who lived
For they were not free men.

But Mordaci would not stand by
And let his people die!
He prayed for Esther to be strong,
And told her not to cry.

Then Esther went before the king
When she had not been called!
For other’s lives she risked herself.
The king was quite enthralled.

But when he heard what Haman did,
King Xerxes was upset.
So Haman hanged and Xerxes told,
The Jews to never fret.

Now let this be a lesson true.
Our strength shall make us rare.
And courage is our trust in God,
We get this with a prayer.
