Matthew 27:51 “The earth shook and the rocks split”

The blood and gore pour down your arms,
As nails go through your hands.
Our gaze is drawn and fixed on you,
From all across the land.

The Thunder roars, the skies turn black;
In mourn of our great loss.
Losing the Lord, almighty God
Betrayed upon the cross.

The Earth will weep; its frame will quake,
In reverence of the Son.
His form is limp, the body dead;
His work on earth is done.

The Pain you suffered here on earth.
Is sweet beyond all praise.
The sin we do for you to bare
Is thanked for in all ways.
