While fallen in the depths no light I see,
To bring me comfort in my misery.
But far in distant lands from where I fade,
A greater light I see beyond all aid.

And low I reach to fetch that diming star,
Which wisks away to places now that seems so far.
But stars so bright I need not set my might.
When right beside me lay a speck of light.
