Verse 1:
Now there’s a place beyond the clouds
Up pass the earthly sky
Where those who run the race are bound
Where those who abide in Christ will rise

And out of this place flows
A river of everlasting life
And all those who drink and have seen of it know
That they shall live and never die

And because time has no hold
They shall live and never grow old
But for all eternity they shall live and explore treasures never told

Chorus: Because here, there are walls carved of stone
And streets paved with gold
Fountains of milk and honey that flow
On and on
Inhabitants clothed of pure white robes
Each have a mansion to call their own
Where in the distance one can hear the angelic choir
Singing their never-ending song

And still, Heaven holds the space
To include the glory of His face
No other world, I know, has room to contain
All the features that have made
This such a beautiful place
Beautiful place

Verse 2:
Here, there’s never a sign of rain
Nor of winter’s cold and gloom
Natural light shines with no restrain
The flowers never seize to bloom

Children just run and play
And never need a bedtime or strict rules
You won’t hear an adult ‘round here complain
About work or bills soon due

No one will worry or have care
No pain or sickness one will bear
In fact, the only responsibility one has, is to enjoy the time spent there

Chorus:
Because here, there are walls carved of stone
And streets paved with gold
Fountains of milk and honey that flow
On and on
Inhabitants clothed of pure white robes
Each have a mansion to call their own
Where in the distance one can hear the angelic choir
Singing their never-ending song

And still, Heaven holds the space
To include the glory of His face
No other world, I know, has room to contain
All the features that have made
This such a beautiful place
Beautiful place

Bridge: Some say there’s no place like home
And I couldn’t agree more
Where I finally meet all my loved ones
And can sit at my Daddy’s throne

Where I can join in on the party
That goes on for all eternity
Do away with this old body
Oh, what a place it’ll be

Chorus: Because here, there are walls carved of stone
And streets paved with gold
Fountains of milk and honey that flow
On and on
Inhabitants clothed of pure white robes
Each have a mansion to call their own
Where in the distance one can hear the angelic choir
Singing their never-ending song

And still, Heaven holds the space
To include the glory of His face
No other world, I know, has room to contain
All the features that have made
This such a beautiful place

Beautiful place

Verse 3:
Look at all that the Father has prepared
For all those in His family
So much that one wouldn’t even need to share
All that obtained by royalty

There’ll be hills and mountains further
And beyond what the eye could see
Rivers of crystal waters
Encamped around a never-dying tree

Oh, with such beauty it is graced
Of landforms that man could never make
And for all eternity these things will dwell and never change

Chorus: Because here, there are walls carved of stone
And streets paved with gold
Fountains of milk and honey that flow
On and on
Inhabitants clothed of pure white robes
Each have a mansion to call their own
Where in the distance one can hear the angelic choir
Singing their never-ending song

And still, Heaven holds the space
To include the glory of His face
No other world, I know, has room to contain
All the features that have made
This such a beautiful place

Beautiful place
