1963
Tonight, I looked into
the skies, and the tears they filled my eyes, as I thought of Christ who died on
Calvary.
He died to save me from my sin,
What a shame it must have been
for my Christ who had to hang upon that tree.
Refrain
Now Jesus knows my heart with all its weakness, but i would gladly shed my blood
for Him
For with his life and with His love my Saviour
Shed His precious blood to save my soul from sin.
Now I would like to ease that pain, so His death won't be in vain.
I accept my Jesus now on bended knee.
My Saviour wants me for His own,
and to lead me to His home
where the gift from God is life eternally.
Refrain
All I have I'd give Him now
because it's all His anyhow
I'll obey my loving God so faithfully.
Then someday soon the King will come.
Then the Lord's will shall be done.
For the victory over satan we shall see.
