O, King of kings, Eternal Friend,
To you, Lord God, our prayers we send,
And hymns of glory we will bring,
With reverent passion shout and sing.
You rescue us from prisons deep,
And by the hand you take and keep
Us safe from
dragons’ lurking eyes,
Who in the darkness, waiting, lies.
When battle rages you prevail,
